Dinkum Doll - Tiny (pre-order for delivery w/c 30th Nov)

£49.00

From the age of 3, children start to recognise race and differences in people they interact with. All too often do you walk into a shop and are met with walls and walls of white dolls, dolls that look like white children. There is a pretty good chance that if your child is white, the vast majority of their toys, characters in books, films and TV resemble them in skin tone.

One easy way to make their world a little more diverse is by increasing the diversity of their toys. Black dolls are an important tool for teaching kids of all races that Black is beautiful and equal.

Because of this - for the foreseeable I will be donating ALL profits from the sales of these black Dinkum Dolls to a charity supporting Black and Minority Ethnic Women in the UK.

White dolls are not just for white people and black dolls are not just for black people.

Now onto the blerb:

The Dinkum Dolls are made from the softest, snuggliest cotton outer, making them perfect for not only playing with, but cuddling and going to sleep alongside. They feature the sweetest embroidered details, from their eyes and mouth, to the little rainbow over their heart.

It’s up to your child to choose who their Dinkum doll is, and with their loveable faces, posable bodies and huggable selves, there is no end to the fun and imaginative play ahead.

Each doll comes with its own removable unisex outfit, socks, diaper, and shoes.

• Dinkum Doll bodies are made from 100% cotton
• Interior stuffing is hypo-allergenic polyfill
• Romper is made from itch-free acrylic yarn
• Shoes are made from BPA & Phthalate free PVC

Dimensions: 35cm Body

Spot clean or for machine wash: Place doll inside pillow case and wash on cold, gentle cycle with mild laundry detergent.
